"Stars go Swing!" with Jochen Kowalski

Glamorous times!
The famous opera star Jochen Kowalski will be swinging with the Capital Dance Orchestra on December 30, 2005. The charming alto performs together with the vivacious dance band in the Laeißhalle – music hall, Hamburg.

In a production created and directed by Arthur Castro (of Pomp Duck and Circumstance fame), Jochen Kowalski shows all facets of his great singing and show talent. With songs like “Cheek to Cheek“ by Irving Berlin, “Night and Day“ by Cole Porter, and many more classics, the Capital Dance Orchestra will transport the audience to the legendary era of swing. Accompanied by the Capital Dance Orchestra, the guest star will present his own individual interpretation of swing music from the 1920s, 30s and 40s. As a bonus, Jochen Kowalski will present, in his own swinging way, several Russian songs by composers such as Dunajewski, Blanter and Miljutin.
